Eric Rottinghaus, D.C.
Dr. Rottinghaus graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic as a Doctor of Chiropractic.While at Logan he served as the Student Athletic Director and won the Student Services Award. Before attending Logan, he attending Loras College in Dubuque, where he majored in Sports Science. He also prides himself in winning enough "intramural champion" t-shirts to clothe a small country (probably an exaggeration). Dr. Rottinghaus got his start at Don Bosco High School, in Gilbertville. After living in St. Louis, while attending Logan, he and his wife Trela settled back into the Cedar Valley in 2002, where he has been practicing ever since. They now have two children, Kile and Cavanaugh.

Dr. Rottinghaus has been an active member of American Chiropractic Association and the Iowa Chiropractic Society since graduating in 2002. In 2004, he became president of the North East district of the Iowa Chiropractic Society. He went on to receive the Outstanding District President Award in 2005, and since been serving as the Director of the North East district.

Dr. Rottinghaus is active in the local community and is a member of the Exchange Club. He has also been voted the Courier's "Best of the Best" — Best Chiropractor 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Joel Janssen, D.C.
Dr. Janssen graduated from National College of Chiropractic (now National University of Health Sciences), in 1971, and moved into the Cedar Valley with his wife Anna. He then practiced on Washington Street with Dr. Nickels, then worked as a solo practice on Falls Avenue for several years before moving into a group practice on Ansborough Ave.   In June of 2007 he joined us here at Falls Avenue Chiropractic. He has been serving the needs of patients in Waterloo and Cedar Falls for over 37 years.

Dr. Janssen is a 6 time bowling league champ currently bowling in the Fleetwood League and the Classic League, sporting a 198 average.  Over the course of his career on the lanes he has bowled one 300 game and three 299. There was even a time when used to play the steel guitar for a country band.

Jyll Klinger
A licensed massage therapist, has brought years of national experience and expertise to Falls Avenue Chiropractic. She specializes in neuromuscular, trigger point therapy and Swedish massage. Jyll graduated in 2003 from Daytona Institute of Massage Therapy. She has taught courses at La’ James in Anatomy, Physiology, Basic Science and Massage Theory.

Jyll is the proud mother of two, Corin and Jayleen. She also enjoys painting.

Jo willis
Jo has been a licensed massage therapist since 2004. She graduated from the Capri College Massage program of Davenport, and was an instructor in the La James Massage therapy program in Davenport.

She has refined her skills previously in both the chiropractic office setting as well as the spa setting over the last 4 years. Jo specializes in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage. When not hard at work, Jo is home-schooling her 15-year-old.
